A battery is a big spend. Whether it pays off depends on how much power you use in the evening, your solar, and your tariff. If it won't stack up for you yet, we'll say so — that's the point of talking to an electrician, not a salesperson.

Will it work in a blackout?

This is the one most people get wrong. Not every battery keeps your lights on in an outage— it needs the right inverter and backup wiring. We'll tell you exactly what your setup would and wouldn't do in a blackout, before you buy — not after.
